Bill Luter

Bill is a senior officer with MISSCO, a school supply business in Jackson. He and his wife, Wyeth, have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Bill has been the chair of the Deacon Board since 2012.

Wyeth Luter

Wyeth provides leadership to Riverwood’s women’s ministry in both teaching and administrative capacities. She is a gifted teacher who loves the Lord and has a heart for the women of the church to know and see the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ.

Les Myrick

Les is a sales rep for Ethicon, Inc., a surgical equipment provider. He and his wife, Abigail, have 5 children, and he has been a Riverwood Deacon since 2010.

Dr. Joel Oakley

Joel is an actuary at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company. He and his wife, Abbi, have two sons. Joel has been a Riverwood Deacon since 2019.

Dr. Mark Reed

Mark is a Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat physician who serves as Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Batson Children’s Hospital. He and his wife, Cathy, have 4 children. Mark has served as a Riverwood Deacon since 1995 in the responsibility of our website development and an Elder since 2020.

Abbi Oakley

Abbi serves Riverwood as the Children’s Ministry Director which includes coordination over the nursery, toddler and children’s Sunday school classes. She expresses her love for the children of our church by selflessly pouring the time and energy of her life into their needs.

Ron Scarbrough

Ron is a retired IBM Client Rep. He and his wife, Betty, enjoy life in their Madison home, and are thankful to spend time with their four children and fifteen grandchildren. Ron has served Riverwood as an Elder since 1978.

Shae Lowery

Darryl Waltman

Darryl is the Chief Accounting Officer for the Denkmann family of companies. He and his wife, Sarah, have four boys. Darryl has served as a Riverwood Deacon and an Elder of the church since 2012.
