The Elders believe that it is the best thing for the safety of our local body to cancel our service this morning. Because we were waiting to see how the weather would turn out, we did not have time to record music and a sermon for the morning. We are therefore including a link to a service from April 2020.
At that time, we were going through a series on the doctrinal content from the Apostle’s Creed. This sermon focuses on the so-called “Descent Clause” (“He descended to the dead”). It deals with the reality that Christ truly died and experienced death even as each of us will unless He comes again during our lifetimes. This theme fits with much of what we will be discussing in our Lament series, which we will begin next week. Thank you.
