Students are a vital part of any healthy church, providing the energy of youth as well as opportunities for older believers to lovingly mentor them. At Riverwood, we seek to come alongside the parents of our students and provide meaningful and intentional times for our students to learn and grow in what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. We use times of seclusion to allow students to be students and interact with their peers around Biblical teaching, but we also have a desire to incorporate our students into the rest of the church as a whole. One of our goals with our students is to see their parents experience the fullness of the joy described in 3 John 1:4 – “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” Our students must choose for themselves the way in which they will walk, but we as a church are devoted to obeying God’s call to fight for the hearts of our students.
